Can you explain your writing process? Do you prefer to create an outline and plan beforehand, or do you prefer to write more spontaneously and organically?
I make notes when ideas hit me then I organize my thoughts into the chapters that it fits well with. Then I focus on my writing and put my thoughts into words that are fit for a novel.

Which character do you enjoy writing the most as a writer and why? If choosing a favorite character is like choosing a favorite child, which character do you find requires the most attention and detail from you as a writer?
That is a tough question since I like all my characters, but Jason Patrick, the man who came up through the ranks and is now Special Forces, Colonel Jason Patrick. He's a family man as well and writing about him brings depth to the stories.

Which character do you enjoy writing the most as a writer and why? If choosing a favorite character is like choosing a favorite child, which character do you find requires the most attention and detail from you as a writer?
There are a few main characters that carry the story forward. These require the most care and attention to keep them in-character throughout the book.

When I was eleven I started writing a story, planning to complete a whole children's novel. Midway I gave up, overcome with the fear of failure, not knowing if I could ever get it published and if anyone would ever bother reading it. As an adult, I learned that fear is the only thing standing between me and my dreams (and that I can publish books independently on digital platforms). I decided to write this novel (my debut) even though the idea terrified me.

When you're working on a book and a new idea pops up, should you pursue it immediately (also known as 'UP syndrome') or finish your current project first? What do you think is the best course of action?
If it's an idea I can put into my current book, I do so.  If better for another book, I jot it down for later and continue on with the current novel.

I started writing for the public audience in January 2015. Since then, my writing has expanded to bigger and better opportunities such as drastic writing changes (for the better) winning awards and certificates, becoming a published author, but then transitioning to a self-published (by choice). I've had some rocky times during my writing journey, but those rocks didn't stop me from progressing! I made a big comeback after publishing my first book entitled Ghost in the Supernatural in January 2015. The book received harsh criticism and bad reviews, which caused me to unpublish the book. But after the disappointing experience, I took the book and made it better. The title and contents made a ...

Tell us what you enjoy most about writing [genre].
What I enjoy most about writing fiction is the freedom to create entire worlds and the ability to explore the depths of human experience through the characters and stories I invent. Writing fiction allows me to delve into the complexities of emotions, relationships, and the human condition, offering a unique way to process and express ideas and feelings. Additionally, I love the sense of discovery that comes with writing fiction—the way characters can take on lives of their own and plotlines can evolve in unexpected directions. The creative process is both challenging and exhilarating, providing a constant source of inspiration and satisfaction.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been writing and telling stories. Before I learned how to write, I would draw pictures of spaceships, then act out the battles, drawing in the laser blasts and explosions after erasing parts of the ships that were blown away by enemies. I’ve blown up the U.S.S. Enterprise 10,000 times. I originally wanted to be a cartoonist and start my own line of comic books. I loved superheroes (and still do!) and would draw the comics, as well as write the stories. My first comic-book character was Super Mouse, created when I was 5 or 6. He was pretty much Superman, but a mouse, and he beat up cats. It was very serious stuff, not Tom and Jerry. That was my dream un...

Well, I always nurtured dreams of being an author until someone informed me about something known as self-publishing. I looked it up online and found a few websites related to the same. I decided on The Pencil app and spent hours late at night writing this romance novella. I did not know it would be received this well, after all, it is my first book.
