What have you found to be most challenging about writing in [genre]?

I don't face too many challenges, other than having three to five years to live. I love writing fiction and making stuff up. Coolest job in the world!

Do you have any unusual writing habits?

I write longhand. I feel a connection with the tale that way. Afterwards, I struggle to type. Even after writing 85 books, I am not a fan of typing

Share some advice for aspiring authors. What advice would you give to your younger self?1. What is your favorite line from your book?

Write what you know about and love. Never let someone talk you out of it. I have a lot of favorite lines because I have 85 books.

What is your take on book boyfriends? Do they actually exist? Or do they set the bar for “real life men” impossibly high?

When I write about relationships. I try to write about good men, and bad. Just like we find in real life.

What do you like to do when you’re not writing?

I am always writing. But I am an avid reader and reviewer. Almost always in the top 100 on Goodreads.

Do you have any movie or tv adaptations in the works?

No, but that would be awesome. Many of my readers say they wish my books were movies.

Do you listen to music while you write? If so, what kind of music do you like to listen to?

Oh yes, always. I am an old-time rock and roll person. The music lives in my heart and soul. For me, the music is poetry set to a tune.
