The feedback, it matters

 I just completed book number eight in Magnanotron and as most of my books go, the ratings and reviews are doing very well. This story is actually book three in the Bond of Bothers series, but it has been said it "reads good as a standalone." I have found in the highly competitive writing world the author needs to have a strong online presence. Some things can be done at little or no cost, and it is good to put the time in and make it happen. On the other hand, an author's website, and getting on the popular promotion and review platforms can be expensive.     Which character do you enjoy writing the most as a writer and why? If choosing a favorite character is like choosing a favorite child, which character do you find requires the most attention and detail from you as a writer?
    That is a tough question since I like all my characters, but Jason Patrick, the man who came up through the ranks and is now Special Forces, Colonel Jason Patrick. He's a family man as well and writing about him brings depth to the stories.
