Kev Harrison

Kev Harrison is a British writer of dark fiction living in Lisbon, Portugal. His debut novel, Shadow of the Hidden, was released in March 2024 and won the Independent Press Award in the Horror category for 2025. It is available now from Brigids Gate Press. He also has two novellas, The Balance, and Below, which are also available, along with his short fiction collection, Paths Best Left Untrodden.

His second novel, Pyres, will be released in summer 2025.

    What do you like to do when you’re not writing?
    I love to travel - hence the travel blogging I mentioned earler. I am a passionate language teacher and learner, so that fits in with the travel, as does my love of food and photography.One of my other hobbies is running and this, to me, feels very much part of the writing process, as it's the most sure fire way to unpick problems in a tangled story.
