Joseph Michael Graves
Joseph Michael Grave’s first book, My Name’s Not Buddy, is a child’s testimony of abuse and neglect through the eyes of trust, hope, rejection and despair. Daily life brought constant peril and change in this young life and all he could do was live through it. In this first book you will find a compilation of stories of innocence that tell of how “the system” failed to protect this young life. The book was long coming as Grave’s felt it would be cathartic while presenting a testimonial from the view of his personal life experience. Despite all odds, he moved on to become a Special Ed teacher for many years to advocate and support those who needed a badass adult on their side. Graves is a Renaissance man who now works on finding peace and enjoyment in life with his family and many interests. His book can be found at www.amazon.com/author/josephmichaelgraves.

Tell us what you enjoy most about writing [genre].I enjoyed uncovering evidence that I utilized to construct a timeline that I used to hang my stories on. This gave me a clearer understanding of what actually occurred in those 11 years. I was able to answer for myself questions that had haunted me for many decades through my rabid desire to know the truth.View More
