I'm an indie author, specializing in fantasy, romance, sci-fi-adventure genres. I'm currently writing the "Vivian Moore Series". The first three books, The Last Valkyrie, Elador, and The Other Valkyrie are available for purchase on Amazon.
I began writing at an early age and was once encouraged by a beloved teacher that I should pursue a writing career. Which I believe is what started it all.
I have faced many challenges throughout my writing career, losing my first draft manuscript more than once, receiving more rejection letters from agents than I can count. Not to mention navigating the hectic and overwhelming writing and self-publishing world via the internet.
I attribute some of my success to my perseverance and good sense of humor.
When I am not writing/editing/self-publishing etc, you might find me working my second job, raising my children, caring for my chickens and various other animals, or traveling with my husband.
Aside from writing the Vivian Moore Series, I have also created several coloring books, titled, "Inspirational Designs" that can also be found on Amazon.com.

How did you become an author and get published? Share your experience.Well, I've written nearly my entire life. But making the transition from writer to author, that happened when I finally finished my first book, "The Last Valkyrie" and submitted it for copyright. Once I had the rights, I began submitting to agents, that was a long and virtually pointless process. When I got fed up, I finally found Amazon KDP self-publishing. Having never done this before, the first time I self-published was long and onerous but thankfully, with help, I managed and each time it gets easier.View More
