The Interview - Tony Flood and his crime thriller Fall Guy - Who really killed his wife?

What prompted you to write Fall Guy?
It is the third in a series of three murder mysteries featuring under-pressure compassionate copper DCI Harvey Livermore, who has been praised by best-selling author Peter James.
Have your books been endorsed by other authors?
Yes. In addition to Peter James, Graham Bartlett, the former police Chief Superintendent and author of crime thriller Bad for Good, says: "Tony Flood keeps us guessing until a stunning final twist in Fall Guy. There are excellent characters in a gripping, fast-paced authentic whodunit."
Do you write in other genres?
I have also written a fantasy adventure called Secret Potion; a book of short stories and poems with twists, together with my wife Heather Flood titled Laughs and Tears Galore; and a celebrity book My Life With The Stars - Sizzling Secrets Spilled! which features a host of showbiz and sports celebrities I have interviewed and written about as a journalist and Sky Television executive.
Who are some of the stars featured in My Life With The Stars?
I reveal how Eric Morecambe made showbiz pals the targets for his impish fun; the terrible stress suffered by Kylie Minogue and Peter Andre; and Elvis Presley's attraction to teenage girls wearing white panties. There are also revelations and amusing anecdotes about Frank SInatra, Marilyn Monroe, George Best, Muhammad Ali, Des O'Connor, Bruce Forsyth and Joan Collins.
What advice would you give to would-be authors?
Do plenty of research so that your story has credibility, and provide interesting characters to whom readers can relate.
