Which character do you enjoy writing the most as a writer and why? If choosing a favorite character is like choosing a favorite child, which character do you find requires the most attention and detail from you as a writer?

At the moment, it is my Victorian-era character. She is challenging as I want to depict the views of the era but also allow her to show strength and fortitude.
This requires patience and research, the latter easier than the former!

Do you have any unusual writing habits?

I don't think so. I have a set routine for breaks but nothing out of the ordinary.

Did you have any say in the cover design?

Yes. The publishers I have been with have always sent me a choice, or I have had input in the design. My first novel, Of Virtue and Damnation, was designed on Amazon by myself.

Did you always want to be an author? If not, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Always. I also would have loved to have been an archaeologist but health got in the way. Part of my dream now is to raise awareness and royalties for charities who have helped me in my battles.

But even my schools said I should be a writer as my creative writing was always something I was scored highly on.

Where do you like to write? In a coffee shop? In your home office? On the beach?

In the garden or on the beach. Somewhere there is nature and peace. That said, I've always got a notebook with me!
