1. What inspired you to write this book?

My ancestors came to America, from Germany, Netherlands, Ireland, and the Czech Republic, from the early 1700’s up until the late 1800’s.

2. Who is your target audience?

I didn’t consciously target an audience.

3. What is the most important message of your book?

I hope “Tares among the Wheat” conveys many messages of encouragement, hope, and faith.

4. Are you writing a second novel?

My second novel, "Death in Tomorrow's Shadow" will be released before Christmastime, 2024. It is a much different novel than "Tares."

5. Since your second novel is pending to be released soon, are you working on a third novel?

Yes, I have written three chapters into my third novel, "The Settled and the Seekers."

6. What prompted you to begin writing literary fiction only after retiring from a career in industry?

My mother was a poet and a storyteller. She invented impromptu stories to fit the occasion, usually to entertain children, from toddlers to late teenage. She retold stories that originated from the Old World of her ancestors, including legends, family experiences, and stories of superstitions. Perhaps that childhood experience inspired me to be a storyteller.
