The Interview - Anniee Bee

How did you become an author and get published? Share your experience.

I became an author at the age of nine or ten. My fifth grade teacher had given us a book assignment and had to create everything. That one assignment sparked the writing in me. From then on,I wrote my first play in my teens and continued writing short stories. I signed to a publisher in 2018.

What is your take on book boyfriends? Do they actually exist? Or do they set the bar for “real life men” impossibly high?

At first I didn't believe they existed until I started reading different genres.

What can we anticipate from you moving forward?

I am a Multi Genre author. My next project will be one of my favorite reading genres.

Did you always want to be an author? If not, what did you want to be when you grew up?

No, I wanted to be a lawyer when I grew up.

Do you have any personal connection to the story or characters?

Most of the stories I've written there is a personal connection to the characters.
