Which character do you enjoy writing the most as a writer and why? If choosing a favorite character is like choosing a favorite child, which character do you find requires the most attention and detail from you as a writer?

There is a character called Muffinsinger who I found was actually my favorite. He has a mystery about him all through the book.

What are some books or authors that you would recommend to our readers?

This book was patterned after the Lord of the Rings and the C.S. Lewis Space Trilogy. I wanted it to have a journey and depth. I have a lot of other reviews posted on my author page, jamesemerrittsdauthor if you like clean fantasy fiction

Describe the [book/series] in 10 words or less for people who are just learning about it.

What man could really fight a dragon alone?

Would you like readers to have any specific takeaway from your book?

There are a lot of great themes in this book. The power of community is one, so I would love to have people leave this book determined to have deeper friendships. Faith is a theme, so I would like them to be inspired to find answers. Perseverance is a theme, so I would love to have them encouraged to not give up when life is difficult. But mostly I'd like for them to get caught up in the story and carried along for the journey.

Did you have any say in the cover design?

The cover design is a simple sunset. Only when it is folded in on itself does one see what could be the image of the dragon. It's busy, but it fits the theme.
