Have you been able to incorporate your previous experience in [jobs/education] in your writing?

I have very much incorporated my previous experience into my writing. My education in the philosophical field of metaphysics, as well as biological sciences, business, health and fitness and events and project management have all contributed to the creation of the Book "Finding Truth".

Through my writing I was able to explore my own self belief systems and emotional states.

Describe the [book/series] in 10 words or less for people who are just learning about it.

The Truth about Mental health, Spirituality and Science can be found in this book.

Would you like readers to have any specific takeaway from your book?

I truly hope to inspire people to keep exploring and enjoy this journey called life. As Ben Lee puts it "We are all in this together". I hope people find a sense of understanding, sentimentality, nostalgia, familiarity, gain insights and knowledge into different areas of interest, satisfy their curiosity.

My book was a journey of discovery, of finding facts, generating my own ideas and thoughts, and presenting them to the world. I hope readers finish this book with a greater understanding of my unique perspective on the topic of Truth.

To date, what is your favorite (or most difficult) chapter you have ever written?

Science and spirituality have always been favourite topics to write about.

What are you reading right now?

A book on health promotion, and illness prevention. I've downloaded it in kindle.

What can we anticipate from you moving forward?

My writings have gone into a research and development direction. I'm also working on a research presentation on Addictive Behaviours and a Metaphysical perspective at present. I have a YouTube Channel with many meditations, and I love creating these, I hope to create more meditations as well. I love contributing to the field of Metaphysics and hope to continue making a contribution into the future.

Do you have any movie or tv adaptations in the works?

I have a screen play being written and edited as a work in progress. My goal is to get this screen play turned into a feature film. I'm still gathering resources, including building a team to assist me in making this dream a reality.

To ultimate goal is to have a feature film shown in cinemas globally.

Did you always want to be an author? If not, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I've wanted to be an author for many years. I was in love with the beauty of the written word; my writing practice became very therapeutic. The thought of being a published author was a real fantasy, a dream I thought I'd never reach.

Being published was a huge achievement and very much a milestone in my career. My first book publication was generated in 2011. Since then, I've appreciated a sense of accomplishment.

I also wanted to be a professional athlete.

Where do you like to write? In a coffee shop? In your home office? On the beach?

I love to write in my home office, often late at night, alone, quietly.

Do you listen to music while you write? If so, what kind of music do you like to listen to?

I listen to music every day, either on YouTube, Spotify or Radio. I often write at unscheduled times, and this is often when music is playing, yes. I find my life to be enriched by music, finding inspiration in lyrics and melodies. Music from the past 30 years has very much shaped the person I am today, having influenced me and my choices in life.

I love to listen to indie music, roots, bluegrass, folk, pop, reggae, rock n roll, alternative rock, classical and world music. Some of my favourite artists include Nahko Bear: Medicine for the people, John Butler Trio, Florence and the Machine, Seba the Chantress, Sam Garrett, P!nk and Katy Perry.

What other hobbies do you have outside of writing?

I'm a Yoga enthusiast and teacher. I practice yoga as often as possible. I love walks with my dog around my local neighborhood. I attend a local gym about 3 days a week. I love cooking and nutrition, consuming healthy whole foods. Outdoor recreation and sports are a passion, from kayaking and nature walks to snowboarding and swimming.
