About the author

She was born in Peralta (Navarre) but living for many years in Marbella, which is in the south of Spain. She always wanted to write, but she didn't know much about it. However, slowly but surely she started to get into the swing of things, when a couple of friends said to her, go ahead and "write a book". At that moment, she realized that precisely that writing was for her, as she loved it.

When she was very young, she always listened to her mother's bedtime stories, which she still has in her mind to this day. She got her first book published in Spanish in 2013 and the year following she had it translated & published in English, "The Cats in the Purple Light".

As of late she has continued to write and publish books in Spanish and English, if you go to the link below you can see what She has published, if you should be interested you can press the "Follow" button on the Amazon author page or E-mail info@mariajoseautora.com , and you will automatically receive updates on her projects.
