Screenwriting may not have been an automatic segue for me, but storytelling has always in my veins. I started with short stories in middle school, and even had the audacity to write my first novel. By hand!

Though that was never published, I refined my efforts and began to self-publish my short stories in 2016. Since then, I (and the stories) have gone through many iterations. For one, I went from writing under a pen name back to my own name, and two, what I write now is Contemporary Romance with open door scenes, a spicy upgrade from what I used to write.

I'm often asked, “Why romance?”

The simplest answer? Deep down, I’m a hopeless romantic.

My self-published novella ‘What I Wouldn’t Do: Where It Started’ is just the beginning of the Mr. Right Series, and currently available here

Currently, I’m working on my debut novel, ‘In Her Own Time’

What I Wouldn't Do: Where It Started

Christmas tends to make one nostalgic. It's the end of the year, it's a time when most all people are excited and happy. A time for the unexpected to be expected.

As Valarie Cain reflects in the backyard of her parent's home, she thinks of all the memories she'll be leaving behind, and all she has to gain. Her only regret:

Never confessing her feelings to the next door neighbor.

Patrick Black.

A mere fantasy that Val could only dream about, and would never speak aloud. To her, he was an untouchable wet dream that she watched from afar... until she's invited over for a night cap.

Maybe Christmas miracles do come true, even if they put you on the naughty list.
